The IT Manager role will be responsible for ensuring the corporate information technology infrastructure is able to support the expanding requirements of our fast growing company.
Actions and Results
The IT Manager will:
- Manage IT support staff and ensure that it provides great service to its corporate customers.
- Manage the budget for capital equipment, services and maintenance in support of the corporate infrastructure.
- Manage and improve IT compliance programs and controls in support of applicable regulatory programs such as Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, EU Data Protection Directive.
- Lead capacity planning efforts and develop transitional plans for the acquisition and installation of new systems and equipment.
- Maintains security by keeping information confidential, and developing, maintaining, and implementing appropriate corporate information security policies & procedures.
- Develop and enhance system administration processes, procedures and tools for voice and data systems.
- Provide planning, leadership, and advanced technical expertise so that the IT infrastructure is able to support corporate business objectives.
Skills and Experience
- Experience managing a fast growing multi-site corporate IT & QA systems environment
- Great enthusiasm for helping customers, both internal and external
- Systems administration experience with Windows/Linux/Solaris servers
- Strong team player with the ability to work on cross-functional teams
- Experience supporting a mission-critical call center
- Commitment to deadlines and willingness to meet the needs of a 24x7 environment
- Minimum 5 - 8 years experience
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skills
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or applicable discipline
